Fair Usage Policy
In order to give all of our clients fair access to UPsourced resources, we operate a Fair Use Policy. As is the case with many service providers, clients of our services share the available resource of UPsourced and the Fair Use Policy ensures that this capacity is not used disproportionately or allocated unfairly.
Fair usage is based on one persons realistic capacity, with traditional video it is viable for one person to output 2 unique videos per week. For animation we think it is viable for one persons to output one video every two weeks.
How it works
During periods of peak use, our Fair Use Policy restricts the help and advice of clients identified as having made disproportionate use of Unsourced, in favour of other clients.
We monitor each clients contact throughout each month to identify those with a disproportionate usage profile. At the start of each month, we reset to zero, so all clients start the month with a ‘clean slate’ – an equal usage profile and equal access to the services of UPsourced.
Our Fair Use Policy restricts only the preference of disproportionate users in favour of lower service users; it will always be our aim to service all of our clients as often as our capacity allows.
